Our Brand New EMC/EMI facilities is arguably the best on the West Coast. QAI now has a 3m Semi-Anechoic Chamber for conducting pre-scans in a totally controlled environment, combined with our full capability to perform Immunity and Final Emissions testing at a state of the art 10m Open air Test Site, QAI can satisfy all of your needs for EMC/EMI and safety Testing.

SPECIAL INSPECTION SERVICE (Field Evaluation)
The special inspection program is a unique program offering manufacturers/ importers/ distributors of electrical equipment the opportunity to have their products accepted by the Authorities having Jurisdiction (ie BC Safety Authority, Electrical Safety Authority (Ontario), etc) without the hassle of certification. This program is aimed at those manufacturers/ importers/ distributors producing a limited quantity of products or limited production type manufacturing.
A special inspection includes the onsite evaluation of an electrical product to determine its compliance with the applicable codes. At the conclusion of a successful inspection, the product is labeled with the SI label, informing regulators that the product is safe

Custom built equipment
- Equipment not obtainable as “certified” under a regular certification program
