Windows & Doors Testing
QAI's Window & Door Testing Service offers value, quick response and a professional level of service that only decades of knowledge can bring. QAI's experienced team can walk you through the process of testing and certifying your Windows and Doors, and can provide the consultative guidance to ensure your success.
QAI is an accredited test lab that provides a full range of testing on windows, doors, skylights, and other unique glazing assemblies. Typical tests include:
• Air Leakage (required for the Canadian ENERGY STAR program)
• Water Penetration
• Wind Load Resistance
• Sash and Frame Strength
• Resistance to Forced Entry
• Energy Modeling (required for the ENERGY STAR program)
For Doors, QAI can provide the above testing plus testing for fire resistance.
QAI’s fully accredited test lab is capable of testing any window, door, skylight or unique glazing assembly to the AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/IS2/A440 standard, as well as other standards such as ASTM, AAMA or CGSB. QAI has a staff of trained engineers that will conduct thermal modeling on your product using the computer simulation method specified in CSA A440.2 or NFRC standards.
